Jactito specialise in a style of visual theatre which evokes a felt response from the audience very much through their senses, using colour, movement, music and sound, rather than merely inviting them to listen to an entertaining story.

Jactito use a variety of masks and rod and glove puppets to achieve a continual flow of movement, using colourful and decorated creations, many of them as actual animals or insects, whether interpreted real or imaginary.

Jactito also experiment interestingly with scale, so that a worm may well be the same size as a lion - this contributes to the audience not becoming complacent about what they are seeing, thus remaining attentive and ready to be amused and impressed by the creatures they meet. One of Jactito's trademarks is that their scenes use classical music and music from many other cultures.
