Jactito Theatre - ANIMAL OUTINGS FOR THE UNDER 5's

Jactito produce a series of shows for the under fives, designed to stimulate and intrigue, from Hippo's and Donkey's to Seals and an unusual creature in a basket, the stories both teach and entertain.

HICCUP the Hippopotamus ...
... hiccups every time he gets worried. One day he loses his glasses so he hiccups causing the whole jungle to shake. One by one creatures who become disturbed by his hiccuping try to help him. There's Anthony the Ant, Malcolm the Monkey, Olive the Ostrich, and many others who fail to help him ..... Finally the King of the Jungle comes to the rescue.

KAN-KAN the Kangaroo.
When Priscilla the Kangaroo practices her jumping for the local talent contest her baby falls out of her pouch. Kan Kan is now lost so she searches for a new home. Spike the Hedgehog who collects points for the local talent competition offers the baby Kangaroo a home - but a Kangaroo and a prickly creature don't create harmony. So Humptee the Camel, Malcolm the Monkey plus an unusual animal that lives in a basket, all try to help.

DANIEL the Donkey ...
... is having an identity crisis. Everyone laughs at Donkeys and he wants to be a different animal altogether. Snoozy the Snake and Petula the Flower join him in his quest until an unexpected act of heroism proves he isn't such a silly ass ...... and so he learns that it's good to be a Donkey!

SONIA the Baby Seal ...
... gets swept away from her home in the Arctic by a big storm. In trying to find her way back home she meets lots of creatures, including Snowy the Snowman, Penelope the Dancing Penguin and Peter the Polar Bear. The show includes a musical underwater scene, featuring exotic multi-coloured fish and many different creatures of the deep.

The Lonely GIRAFFE
Geoffrey the Lonely Giraffe is thrown out of Giraffe Land because he has a short neck. He tries to fit in with the other creatures he meets by turning himself into a tortoise, a rabbit and a bird, but his disguises don't work ... at last Georgina the Giraffe resolves the problem in a totally unexpected way.
